So this is the obligatory first post in which I introduce myself, explain that I am new to Dreamwidth, and that a lovely person I found randomly on the internet gave me an invite code to the site.

I also have used Livejournal and Deadjournal so I am familiar with the format but this site seems to have a personality all its own. I like Deadjournal but it has been, well, dead, and it is hard to find friends and communities. In contrast, Livejournal has an almost overwhelming amount of users and communities and therefore is full of drama and confusion. I guess I'm looking for something between the two!

This journal will probably be a mix of public and friends locked entries. Don't hesitate to add me as a friend - I am looking for other blogs to read and an audience to rant to because I think it helps me to keep up on my writing if I know other people are reading it. The only thing I ask is that if you add me you are 18+ because I will probably be talking about certain adult stuff in here.
